There are 1,440 minutes in a day. Each one can be owned by exactly one person, forever. This site is a clock that always shows the current minute and whoever it belongs to.

What you get

When your minute arrives, the whole page is yours for 60 seconds: your name, one line, and your link. That happens every day, for as long as the site exists. The clock runs in each visitor’s local time, so your minute crosses the planet once a day, time zone by time zone.

You also get a permanent page at /3:47 — or whichever minute is yours — showing your name, your line, and how many people your link has sent somewhere. It is yours to share.

You can change what your minute displays whenever you like, free, for as long as you own it. There is no account and no password: ask for an edit link from your minute’s page and it is sent to the email you paid with.

What it costs

Between $10 and $500, paid once. Which one depends on the minute — the memorable times cost more, the small hours cost least:

One payment. No subscription, no renewal, nothing to cancel. Prices were printed when the site launched and never change, and no minute is ever added to the map. The full price of every minute is shown on the grid before you buy.

How it is delivered

Immediately, and digitally. Payment is handled by Stripe; the moment Stripe confirms it, the minute is yours, your name is on its page, and it appears on the clock the next time that minute comes around. There is nothing to post and nothing to wait for. If two people pay for the same minute in the same instant, exactly one gets it and the other is refunded automatically.

Refunds

14 days, no questions asked. Email clock@ownthisminute.com and your payment is returned in full; the minute goes back on the map at its printed price. After 14 days, ownership is final.
